It came in good condition and as described for a used product. However I do have one complaint. The seller slapped a HUGE used sticker on the back of the manga and getting it off was a pain. Also it left a really gross residue since it wasn't one of those nice easy peel stickers but a bad sticker that I am STILL not able to get off. I have even tried using a cotton ball and alcohol and while it is slowly working... it is turning into an all day project for nothing. The sticker kind of turned me off buying from the seller again just because it has really damaged it and while I was gentle and able to pull it off without tears (thankgod) I still have to work at it before I can even read it. :/

Kaoru Hanabishi was a lonely college stundent, who had willingly left his father's family, even after they had adopted him. Now, into his life, came a pretty young girl. A girl named Aoi Sakuraba who had come to marry him. A girl he hadn't seen since leaving home.
The problem is, in order for her family to approve of this marriage, he would have to go back to the family he hates. Will he go back to his family? Will she leave her's? What will the families do?
The first volume has the first ten chapters and seem to be the foundation for the first four (of five) anime episodes of the First DVD. The manga is for age 16 and up, higher than the DVDS, because mangas can get away with just a TOUCH more in mature scenes and adult humor. I would suggest you only buy it if you are a REAL fan of the anime OR don't have the anime.
I ordered Ai Yori Aoshi volumes, 1-6 for my boyfriends twenty-third birthday. We both share a mutual fondness for Japanese Manga and Anime; bonding over our love for the eccentric. One of the first manga's that he received as a child was the compilation of Ai Yori Aoshi Volumes 1-3. I went about finding the rest of the set for him, considering the first volume that he bought was old and had become worn. once again has one my heart. I was able to locate all 17 manga's in the series and all in English!
I ordered this to finish my set a couple of months back and I just now had a chance to read it. The manga is clearly well worn, from the pages being well used to even the cover showing some wear. However, this isn't the main reason that I had changed my review and Lowered my rating.

1. the book seemed to have come from a library as all of the tags/stickers/ tape was still attached to it, even the "security tape" was still on the inside of the book.
2. Pages where ripped out of the book. I would have been fine if it was a single page, i'm not losing the entire story. But when I discovered multiple pages where missing I got annoyed. The Book came quick and everything, Still, a seller should know if the book has all of it's pages intact before selling said product.

I will however, purchase another copy seeing as it is relatively cheap. It's just a shame that I have to buy the same copy twice because one didn't have every page included.
